Method of Preparation

  1. In a mixer with the paddle attachment, combine together the all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and butter.
  2. Mix on low speed until the butter pieces have become the size of a pea.
  3. Add the eggs, cream, , and orange zest.
  4. Mix until the mixture just comes together.
  5. Allow to rest for 4-5 minutes and then roll out onto a floured surface and cut into desired shape.
  6. Egg wash and sprinkle with baking sugar.
  7. Bake at 190°C/375°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
