Method of Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except angel food cake in a large plastic bucket.
  2. Mix well for 2-3 minutes using an immersion blender.
  3. Heat to 85°C/185°F.
  4. Add angel food cake and blend well.
  5. Strain and process in batch freezer according to machine directions.

Method of Preparation

  1. Pipe soft gelato into .
  2. Insert sticks and place in blast freezer until hard.
  3. Unmold quickly and place in a regular freezer for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt in a container in the microwave.
  5. Dip frozen pops in and allow excess to drip off.
  6. Place frozen pops on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, and store in freezer until ready to eat.
